The Foundation represents a strategic philanthropic approach to sustain and strengthen the DIB by engaging and cultivating individuals, institutional investors, and corporations interested in furthering the mission of BFA. The Foundation complements BFA’s efforts by growing a permanent endowment and advancing initiatives that build industrial base resilience, foster innovation, and promote opportunity within the defense ecosystem — particularly for the workforce, communities, suppliers, and partners who power it every day.
As the philanthropic extension of BFA, the Foundation is guided by a board of trustees and informed by ongoing coordination with government, industry, and academic partners. Through a collaborative, agile, and impact-focused approach, we build trusted relationships, catalyze action, and support mission-aligned outcomes across the national landscape.
